Caffe Italia Restaurant

Used several times for quick lunch or breakfast great food, best coffee around, warm friendly service. Go there! short walk from Vauxhall station worth it.

Live in the area and had walked past Caffe Italia a few times, so decided to pop in for lunch. The place has nice, colourful decor - including lime green walls and bright paintings - and has a selection of newspapers and magazines to browse. The staff are lovely as well, which is always a bonus. However, the food is very overpriced for what it is. I ordered a toasted chorizo and mozzarella baguette, which was quite small and a little overdone on the toasting - £4! I also ordered a medium cappuccino, which, while nice, was also rather lacking in size and should really have been a small.

Nice staff and wonderful salads. Comfy and well lit. Way preferred over just about any chain!

I travel from North London to visit this cafe as I can't find coffee as nice anywhere else within easy reach from the Victoria line. Best service I've ever encountered I'm a cafe and always a friendly greeting by all that work there. The sandwiches are really nice too and worth traveling over the north/south London border for. Marco runs this cafe and does an excellent job. Always sourcing the most delicious coffee around on the market and fresh ingredients for the sandwiches which always have something a but different in them than the other cafe competitors.

I'd highly recommend Cafe Italia to everyone and even use it for holding my wedding meetings etc. whenever I need a meeting place in South London.
