Useful Tips from AIL Users
Go further back in the restaurant. My favourite place is close to where the chefs are. Great banter.

I went in on the advice of an East Street Market trader for a very "Irish" breakfast to my own order. (it actually was their "Number 4" without but with added black pudding). Their "bubbah" is the very best Bubble and Squeak I have had in London. Their sausage is not the best in town, as another reviewer mentioned, but the bacon was top quality and done exactly as I like it. Frying an egg properly is a fine art and they got it! I felt minded while I was in Cafe House, very impressed by the relaxed atmosphere and the service which was superb. They make their own B+S in house from their own boiled and mashed potatoes and it shows. BTW, my rating of 8 does not reflect anything amiss. It's just that I do not use 10 and they lost a point for the sausage. I WILL go back there for breakfast on the slightest excuse. I took the 35 bus from Shoreditch High Street and it was worth the 30 minute ride. Oh! The scenery is stunning on that route!

Good value breakfast. I had bacon egg chips and tomatoes, not tinned, tho there was a choice!

A reasonably priced cafe with a British menu. Breakfasts are good although sausages seem to be cheapies. Remainder of the vast choice of food, acceptable quality for the price, although the cheese you get when you order a jacket potato with cheese is very mild and lacks taste. Staff are pleasant, plenty of seats. Child friendly, highchairs available.
