The Station Cafe at Isleworth's days are numbered (according to its owner of 35 years there are issues with the lease etc). The structure is a wonky mish-mash that resembles a cab office with add-ons. In fact it reminds me of the sort of mongrel fisherman's shack that exists on the shingle wastelands of Dungeness (Kent). The low-ceilinged interior houses built-in furniture that's uniformly odd, a little like jigsaw pieces that are forced into place. The sausage, egg and chips style fare is okay and good value. Go here before it's torn down, it's brilliant.
