Absolutely brilliant food and service, best fish and chips in the area, plus all other foods on the menu,
Can't praise them enough, not been there you are missing out.

Hi. I am a Regulair to Kennedys when in London. My son and Family who live in City Road are always in there. We also Have Family get togethers There too. When in Europe I always Recomend Your Place for somewhrer to eat in London( And Cheap) Great Stuff.

Moved into the area a couple of months ago and found this fish and chip shop (which also has restaurant attached) so gave the takeaway a try. First visit found the Chips really poor - soggy with a strange aftertaste - and the fish was second rate with poor batter and didn't taste like cod or haddock! Gave it a another try and whilst the chips were the same the pies and sausages were excellent. Gave it another try and pitched up at 1015 pm a couple of weeks ago to be told by a grumpy member of staff that they close at 10pm. Web site says 1030pm. o.m.d,i ate here once, and now i have 2 come here at least once or twice a week. it's not just rnd the corner from me, i have 2 drive from south london but the food and service is more than worth it. It has a seperate take away service and a liecenced resterant, which is child friendly. Of an evening it is also a good venue for an office party or a familky get together. I had a surprise party here for a family member and everyone enjoyed themselves. The prices are very good. I would reccomend anyone to try eating at kennedys and i'm sure you will become a regular, juet like me.

Just been to kennedys fish shop for my tea and it was totally delicious!! I had grilled halibut with mixed salad and chips and would highly recommend it. My dining partner had the blackened skate and it was also delicious.We usually frequent LIVEBAIT but fancied a change and were totaly satisfied with the food and the price. I was so surprised that Kennedy's didn't have a review because it is one of the best fish and chip restaurants I have eaten at. I love fish and chips and like the variety they offer at Kennedy's with grilled as well as fried fish, delicious salads and mushy peas. Enjoy a cup of tea or well priced wine. Good portions and price.
I've given up eating in Upper Street, much prefer it at Kennedy's.
