So disappointed how this place had gone down hill, the last time I went in the portion size of chips had halved and the crispy whale size haddock was more of a soggy sprat . Was left hungry . This is such a shame please bring the friendly big bloke back to sort it out

I also come from the north and this is truly the best fish and chip shop south of Peterborough ! Massive haddock crispy batter and perfect chips . All other chip shop owners in London should come sample this to learn how its done ! Very friendly bloke serving too

Having recently moved to the area from the north, i wasn't expecting the local chippy to be up to much, but whistlestop is brilliant.
great fmily-run chippy, lovely chips, great staff, reasonably priced and the best barmcakes this side of the watford-gap! Highly recommended!
