Fresh is a fish and chip shop that has fresh fish delivered every morning. They also have a small seating area.

Useful Tips from AIL Users

If you order the large cod, they always cook it fresh. Takes about 8 minutes but is delicious.

The chip portions are alittle on the small side, the prices are a bit expensice even for the area. Of the food I have had from there on two separate occasions, it's not very good and has been lukewarm at best after a 10 minute walk home. The wait time is abit long for semi-hot food in my opinion and the staff aren't very friendly. Personally I thought their chips didn't taste good and if a British chippy doesn't serve good chips it's not worth its salt. Probably will not visit again.

Brilliant fish and chips but you have to became bit wary of the other options. Stick to the lovely cod and haddock.

I've lived in London for 22 yrs + I'm a fish'n'chip connoisseur. This has meant 22 yrs of pain searching for, what I'd started to believe was impossible, a great fish'n'chip shop. I'd hoped that the famous George's on Portobello Rd might get it right... I was wrong. I prayed that Fish! might be the answer... I left lost and and lonely. Even Canteen, my happy place, made me sad. I'd given up. In fact I no longer ate London fish'n'chips as the pain was too much. Then I discovered a friend inhaling a pile of haddock (skin off of course) and chips from Fresh. I tasted them and an

Use FRESH once a week - always ask for haddock which they never have cooked - so it is always 100% fresh. Always takes them 8 minutes to cook. You only need 1 portion of chips between 2 of you - and they are OK but not brill... it's the fresh Haddock which is worth the wait!!!

Sadly one of few Fish and Chip shops in the close area, this place sadly lets me down.

The rock, although cooked fresh, was extremely salty and a bit too fragrant for that sort of fish. The chips were a good chunky size but clearly weren't fresh and very dry.

So much potential considering they have the local monopoly, but unfortunately do not live up to simple standards. As such, my business with them is suspended.
