An unfortunate mistake! I broke my own rule of never ordering from a Chinese delivery that sells chips. Yum yum has fortified that rule. £30 wasted and a meal ruined on a hungover Saturday afternoon. Mapo Tofu was horrendous. 'crispy' chilli beef was dire, florescent stodge. Salt pepper quid was a 3/10 and the best dish. Special rice was anything but. More like a left-over reheat.Frustratingly we opted for the cheaper option of yumyums menu and ordered more. A lesson learnt. Quality over quantity In future.

Do yourself a favour- never order from yum yum! I ordered 3 items for delivery, only 2 arrived. I called to tell them, and was assured the third item would be redelivered. 30 mins later....no delivery. I call again. I am offered credit towards my next order. I explain there won't be a next order (I don't live in the area, the food was mediocre at best, and i make a point of not using businesses that take my money without delivering the goods I have paid for). 'Ok, we will deliver the remaining item' I am told. Guess what? No delivery. Breech of Trading Standards. 0 stars rating from me.

Among the worst Chinese food delivery experiences of my life. The extremely rude manager got my order completely wrong and when I phoned to explain, he wouldn't let me speak and then put the phone down. The food was poor - beef was like shoe leather and the fried noodles were like slop. Never again

Yum Yum used to be good but after ordering my regular meal I found that the ingredients used had been substituted with cheaper ones.
I ordered tempura and received burnt prawns in bread crumbs. When I called to complain I was told that this is the way they do them now.
Bring back the old owners. They had much higher standards.
Have your say
