I bought strawberry gateau from the Little Baker for my birthday. The lady boxed it up but took off the base before I could speak . When I asked her to keep the base as it would be difficult to serve she told me it didn’t fit in the box so I suggested she gave it to me separately. She then told me she wasn’t allowed to give me the base . I think they re use them to economise and told her so . The cake was ms nearly £24 so I think it’s no excuse ! I later bought one in Sainsburys for £1.05 . I’m sure it doesn’t cost Little Baker that much wholesale. The previous owners were generous not sure now . Would rather go somewhere else next time ! I still haven’t tasted cake so hopefully it’s fresh at least . I hope I can transfer it on a serving plate without it collapsing!

Very nice - bought a beautiful large granary loaf for £1.60, bread the way it used to be - solid and healthy, great feel and taste.

Many times I've been to this place for cakes they always amaze me with the cake quality at such a reasonable price! And love the fact they took my last min order. Would highly recommend to anyone!!

This bakery has lovely cakes and savouries like ciabattas, quiches and pizzas, as well as good coffee. Staff are really friendly and it's obvious a lot of the customers are regulars. It's great to have somewhere like this in the neighbourhood.

I have been buying my daughters birthday cakes for the last 28 years, her wedding cake and now my granddaughters cakes. Some of my friends have also started ordering from there too. The service is excellent and the cakes are so very delicious. Thank you.

Awesome cakes for amazing price. I have 2 children and I am quite fussy when it comes to cakes. I have tried different bakeries throughout the years to get the children's birthday cakes but this one is the best by far. I now go to this bakery only. All guests always compliment the appearance and the taste and lots of my friends are now getting their cakes from this bakery. Best taste and best price in town!

Best bakers anywhere in London. I visit three or four times a week, bread, rolls cakes savouries can't be beat but my favourite is their chocolate buttercream gateau - best cake I have ever tasted.

If you are in the area you must visit.
