This refers to the Parish Bakery at Barnes High Street. Been customers here for many years, but have noted that the service has become very poor. Heard the bakery was sold out to Putney Bakery, but not certain. Poor service and a rude 'boss'. Always have our bresd sliced, but the slicer has become blunt and the slices stick together. Asked if the slicer needed sharpening, and a rather vulgar, middle-aged man snapped, "I am the boss here, and I'm not altering anything. If you don't like it, go elsewhere". What sort of parish would such a person represent? Surely not an olde Englande type! Trying to locate Head Office without success, so I can report this person.
The Parish Bakery sell a range of freshly baked goods including bread, buns, pastries, cakes, rolls, pies, pasties and sausage rolls.
