If you're in London and you want traditional Jewish bread, go to Grodzinski's - they are, quite simply, the best kosher bakery in the UK with a vast range, freshly baked and unspeakably delicious. Their bagels (in all varieties) are beyond fantastic. During holidays, they stock cakes traditional to that holiday - and I'm not lying when I say their hamantaschen aren't just like Bubbeh used to make, they're even better.
And then there's Grodzinski's challah. Nevermind "if you're in London..." - if you're anyway on Earth and you want challah, Grodzinski's is the place to go. It is, quite simply, the best challah I have ever had the pleasure of eating (and I've bought and consumed challah from countless bakeries throughout the UK, Europe and Israel). I promise you won't be disappointed - there is none better.
