I went here for breakfast with my husband recently and the pastries we had were delicious. We went for lunch this week and both ordered roast beef baguettes - one with horseradish, the other with mustard. The baguettes were a real disappointment - a single layer of wafer thin, tasteless beef, and nothing else other than the horseradish and mustard (which was a very hot English mustard). From a deli, I would expect a bit more than this - proper beef for starters, some salad, and perhaps a bit if wholegrain mustard or a nicer baguette than I'd get in a packet at the corner shop. In fairness, a lot if the food behind their deli counter looks delicious (scotch eggs, pork pies etc) but for a sandwich they score no points. The staff are not unfriendly, more indifferent, giving off a vague air of being inconvenienced by their customers. We may go here again, but we won't be eating in, and buying nothing that we haven't seen before we buy.
