The Twickenham branch of M&S Simply Food occupies a long, narrow area that makes it awkward enough for customers to get around the display shelves, added to which the checkout queue often stretches back into the confined shopping space. This shop is already an obstacle course, so why does the management insist on moving stuff from place to place as well? It's not a big supermarket, no one in their right minds would - or could - come in to amble round Twickenham M&S hoping to make delightful discoveries, nor do we want to have to ask the staff where they've hidden the fishcakes or coffee this time! I bet I'm not the only customer who has sometimes simply given up the struggle and gone elsewhere.
