Last Saturday Tesco Brixton staff went to enormous trouble to help me track down the unusual ingredients I needed for some Thanksgiving baking. Thank you everyone for your time and effort, you definitely put a smile on my face!

I have not had anyone push in the queue or ram my trolley.
When I shop at the store most of the tills are open. I don't have to queue for long. On Christmas eve 2013, I was able to get everything I needed despite the store being packed. I was unable to find a product, I asked for help, despite being busy a member of staff looked and when he couldn't find it, he called the store and I got what I needed. They have a large range of carribean, and Asian products. I like the store, it is always well stocked.

Always a dreadful experience. Seriously lacking in customer service and today was particularly bad. The last comment was made on this site in 2006 - nothing's changed. Still too few tills open, still in need of customer service training, a "hello" would be a good start. Go somewhere else.

Actually, its quite a sizeable store with a large selection of food. As for there being a large selection of afro Caribbean food, I've never seen it, nor have I seen people fighting with trolleys. I would say that the store is often packed and there should be more staff and usually half of the tills are not open even though its full most of the time.

Without doubt the most painful shopping experience in the uk! It's quite a small supermarket and is always rammed to capacity with shoppers. The staff are disinterested and apathetic, or appear to be that way. I lost count of the number of times people pushed in queues, used their trolleys as battering rams or decided to fight in the store! After a while you do get used to it and it becomes a parody of what you'd imagine a supermarket to be if it was run and staffed by Basil Fawlty.

It does have a fairly good selection of Afro-Caribbean foods though!
