VB and sons I know long time was very clean respected. Now every time I visit I find it very different and their food not at the highest quality and prices are high for the low standard.

2 weeks ago I did shopping in VB. We parked right outside VB which we thought was council Road. Got a ticket today that we were parked outside their shop for 90 mins. This ticket came straight from VB and sons. There are no notices as you approach that road to show its a private road belonging to VB. I will think twice before going in their shop after a loyal customer and them being family friends.

VB&Son over the years seem to have degraded their main purpose of quality of their grocery and food items. Always the shop is in a delipated condition and the stench and smell of rotten food is predominant not to mention out of date.
Even with this i still kept shopping there hoping some sort of improvement. The last straw is they now started charging shoppers to park for shopping over 1hr.
Regretfully they have lost another customer and would not recommend anyone else to shop there!

Kingsbury branch
Staff rude
Have no customer service experience
Have no current knowledge of the law
If someone is exempt from wearing mask they shouldn't be chasing them exchanging rude words till point of exit
Even at exit they didn't allow to purchase essential items and was left without any after queueing up for over 45 minutes in the rain
There was no sanitisation available during the covid 19 pandemic crisis
No social distancing available
Not only that they didn't allow a minor child entry with parent and minor was asked to wait outside
They didn't even allow entry to an elderly couple together
I found this out of order and against the law

COVID Hazard

This highly profitable store is failing to spend any money on health and safety of staff and customers.

They have created more congestion than previously, as the entrance and exit are the same.
People getting trolleys, entering, leaving and getting santiser all in one spot. 2m distance, I think not.
There is no santiser for the trolleys nor are they being cleaned. Nothing like multiple contamination. Inside a a tiny automatic gel dispenser hangs on the wall, it doesn't work.
How cheap and low can the management stoop that they are unwilling to pay for even basic provisions. That too for customers who are more likely to be infected with COVID.

You squeeze past the tills and there is no social distancing.

The manager at this branch is an incompetent, rude and arrogant man. His poor skills are reflected on the faces of staff who look so unhappy.

recently people who buy from your shop in Kingsbury complain of rotten, smelly, pulses, etc. the quality of food is gone down . Many of your customer have switched to buying from Natco , and other brands.

We visit London maybe twice a month mainly to buy Indian food and vegetable items. We are pensioners and visited the Kenton Branch today. After completing our shopping at this branch and before drive back to Luton, I felt a need to use the bathroom to get rid of cups of tea I had before leaving home. When I politely asked a lady member of staff where the bathroom was. Without looking at me she replied in gujarati " we dont have one here". I could not believe my ears that a store this large with hundreds of customers does not have a toilet

I then approched a gentleman near the counter who appeared to be answering and directing the staff. When I asked him for the bathroom, his reply blew me away... His reply again in Gujarati, without even stopping or looking at me was " none here"

Poor mananagement of the store, staff rudeness, and total absence of customer service.. Not that VB will care much, but regret you have just lost another customer.
