Useful Tips from AIL Users
If there are issues with the prescriptions, quite often the surgery will not have released it yet, as it is just across the road it is worth making this your first port of call after any problems.
Dont wait until your prescription runs out. Give it a few days, at least, to allow the pharmacy time to get things ready to provide your repeat prescription.

I phoned to speak to the MANAGER but assistant refused to let me....but as I insisted I was first....twice....that she'd TOLD ME that he'd call me at 5.30but as I record 'RUDE G]assistants she then said that she was GOING to tell me this...... This was after I said I was going to report the PHARMACY and not just miss 2 white shirts.
As I type I still haven't heard from the manager.
My daughters GPs were disgusted enough to change her to BOOTS as from now.
If you NEED to speak to a pharmacist PLEASE USE BOOTS, In 63 years I have never been spoken to thus by a shop assistant.
If no phone call by tomorrow I will send composed letter to the relevant complaints bodies and Facebook it,

I moved to Boots and haven't had any problems since. It seems crazy when there are competing pharmacies on the High Street that they haven't got their act together. The prices are higher than Boots and Superdrug. I only go in there now for the Post Office.

The prescription service is very muddled. They have a delivery service (in theory), but won't accept card payments over the phone.
If you have a prepayment cert, they keep making up the prescription and forgetting to deliver!
They need to train their staff better, particularly when dealing with phone calls.
They need to improve the system for keep track of prescriptions, which are collected and which go out. They seem to have no checks!

They were understaffed and I found a few items on the shelf which were out of date. The pharmacy has been around for a long time and used to be decent but it has heavily deteriorated in the last few years.

The pharmacy needs a cleaner. As there is dust every where as well. The shelves are very messy.

For the last three months I have been unable to get prescriptions ordered on line and then delivered... This service used to be very simple and prompt but now it takes at least three phone calls or a visit to the pharmacy to actually get the medicines. Simpler and easier to go elsewhere.
If someone says they will phone back when they find out what has gone wrong, they should do so.
And if they cannot provide a reliable delivery service they should not say that they can.
