I've been going to this gym since it opened in April 2011. Equipment is generally very good with a wide choice of new machines and a free weights area. There is one closed studio room for classes and an open area for spinning sessions. The place gets very busy at lunchtimes and evening, particularly early in the week. It can often be the case that all machines are taken up and getting even a square metre of space in the weights area is impossible! Unfortunately there are a lot of people in the weights area who hog the equipment. They should be booted out.

For whatever reason the management seem to switch off the aircon from time to time which means it can get quite stuffy in the changing room and parts of the gym. Showers are push button and a fixed temperature which means you cant have a cold shower to cool down! A bit ridiculous really. there is no water dispenser so you have to bring your own or use the cold taps in the toilets.

Changing rooms are too small and it is a battle to get space at the end of lunchtimes.

For the price (£15 a month) it is quite good and a damn sight cheaper than Virgin Active (£69) were charging and there is no contract. I was waived the joining fee (opening promotion) but it is about £30.
