What moaners - I've been going there for a year and a half and it's fine. It's in great condition now and I'm saying this after having been to a few other gyms in my time. It's a good crowd - friendly staff and personal trainers, not too many poseurs, not too many complete muscle heads, not as many snobs as in the virigin active one down the road. Chnanhging rooms much cleaner than some other LA fitness gyms I've been to.
One gripe though - why move the drinking fountain into the changing rooms - probably trying to make people but bottled water - but not very successfully. Also - hate when I see other people put their bottles around the nozzle - so unhygenic - how about some signs saying please don't do this ! (like I've seen in other places).
