The Garrat Lane Academy, Fulham Broadway and Tooting branch are all salons I've visited.

The managers are rude, unfriendly, cold and lack basic customer service. I've lost all respect for them. I've made a decision to never part with my money with them ever again. I'm absolutely livid. Numerous bad experiences in those three branches - they simply don't care about you as a client. They are all about money. When I expressed my grievance last week about a fourth incident, they told me that they don't care about my opinion and I left the store in tears. Please, I'm begging you, spend your money elsewhere.

I've been going to salon off and on for 8 years. Receptionist at Garrett lane is always smiling and welcoming. However when you enter the shop it would be nice for staff to say hello they look over at you but say nothing although I say hello.
I was seen by two young stylist one washed my hair and the other styled my hair both very professional and welcoming.

The staff at the Highgate branch need a lesson not only in customer service but also in good manners! Terrible service NEVER AGAIN!

I visited morris roots in tooting recently (not garrat lane) . As always my hair looked lovely. However the customer service was horrid. My stylist was very unfriendly and rude. I couldn't work out what his problem was. I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable and couldn't wait to get out of the place. I consider my trips to the hairdressers as a bit of pampering, however I left feeling quite low. Apart from that the staff are really talented and really know what they are doing. However I won't be going back.

Visited the Tooting Academy Branch on 21/08/15. Booked for canerow to be done at 16.30 appointment but they started my hair at 18.10. Showed stylist the style I wanted she said she was unable to do it. The stylist refused to do the style due to the "complexity" of the style and time implications despite their tardiness

I suggest staff communicate to customers about the need to show the stylist the images prior to salon attendance at booking. If appointments cannot be kept due to late running and understaffing -tell them. Treat customers respectfully & in a dignified manner.

Going to Morris Roots is like going to the dentist you hate it but you need to go get something fixed. Everyone is always so unhappy and they always charge me the full £45 for half of my head as the back is shaved. When I see some other customers coming to pay they get it for £35 but it is not explained why. I am looking for another place because I have been going here 5 years and the workers still can't smile or say hi.

Morris himself started my locs 2004 - the service he provided was professional from the start. No long waiting, an offer of tea on arrival, great products and a man that KNOWS black hair. I always leave looking hot and turning heads and the styles he gives me are like a walking advert showing off his skills - I'm always asked who does my hair and I happily recommend him. When I was diagnosed with cancer Morris lovingly shaved my head at my request and now I'm back to full health he's cultivating a fresh head of locs. His hands are special - even my mum says "Morris' hands grow hair!"

I have been having my locks washed and re twisted with Morris Roots for years and have always found the staff at the academy to be professional and welcoming. I enjoy the jovial conversations with staff and love the family vibe Morris and his team have
implemented.

I normally enter the salon rough and rugged but always leave a new and refreshed man. Just like Denzel before a GQ photoshoot- fresh, sharp and clean!

In summary, I always love getting my hair re twisted at MR academy but if I want an intense hair wash I stop by the high street salon!!!

Very cold and unwelcoming people.. They don't explain what they are doing to your hair & they are scissor happy! They just took scissors to my hair without asking and when i researched online scissor pruning actually thins your hair in the long run! Rude and unprofessional. Never again! beware people there are better loc salons in London.. Morris Roots is very overrated.

The way they do locs is fabulous, they know what they are doing. The hair is always washed thoroughly and when I come out of there everyone asks me where I have had my locs done. however, I echo what everyone here is saying, customer service needs to improve. They need to communicate more with the customer, be cheerful and put the customer at ease. Lack of customer service is a let down to be honest.

I agree with Joan the staff at Highgate need to learn some customer service skills all they have to do is smile and acknowledge the customers a lot more and staff need to stop arguing with other members of staff in front of clients Its really bad for business! Morris Roots get your staff down to a John Lewis branch now so they can see how a customer should be greeted and treated! They way they do hair is great which is what keeps me going but not sure for how much longer.....

I would like to suggest that your customers are welcomed with a smile when they enter the shop. This is the only thing that lets your excellent work down.
