Useful Tips from AIL Users

Book on Tuesday if you want a cut and colour as my colour was half price. Otherwise I book in advance as it gets quite busy.

Lucia is incredibly talented! I have been going to her for years now and highly recommend her. She knows what suits your face structure and ensures that the cut is done to perfection, making you walk out their salon feeling confident (for weeks!)
Made the mistake of going elsewhere in July when I could not travel down to Baker St, only to return in August to get it sorted by Lucia.
Lucia it is, in the future...!
The salon staff are professional and customer service is best at this Rush!

I don't often write reviews but this baker street salon is worth it. I am quite fussy and struggle to get the right tone for my hair. I have been looked after by Liam the consultant on every visit and i haven't found anyone better. He is very talented and as I am quite fair i always worry I will have visible roots as I dye my hair bright red. Every time I come away feeling like a new person. All the staff are friendly and welcoming and i get a drink and snacks everytime. If you want a premium hair experience then this rush is where you need to go. I will not be moving anytime soon. Definitely recommend.

Rush Baker St were offering a cut, colour and conditioning treatment available in 3 appointments for £75, with a colour upgrade to full head of highlights for an extra £30. I jumped at this as I usually spend around £250 on a cut and full head. My first appointment was a cut, which I booked 2 weeks in advance, and on arrival was told there was no appointment for me on the system. I was asked to come back in half an hour, which I did and then waited a further hour to be seen. The cut was fine and I was in there altogether for 3hrs. My second appointment was for an upgraded full head of colour. I arrived, waited for an hour and was finally seen (the salon had one other client in it). Usually I have a cut and colour at the same time which takes 4hrs, on this occasion having waited an hour already, for just the colour I was in the salon for 4 and a half hours. When arriving home on closer inspection of my hair, although I liked the colour my roots were still really obvious with a few streaks through them. Several of my friends commented that I needed my roots done so I called the salon for a corrective appointment. I arrived for my 3rd appointment and after waiting again for an hour. I then explained to the stylist who did my hair originally that I liked the colour but my roots were not treated and looked like I hadnt had my hair coloured at all, whilst trying to pout it as nicely as poss - she argued that that is how they do it at Rush and I went on to say that in 7 years of having highlights I have never had a full head of colour and left with all my roots showing, and I was not happy with the overall result. She Said she would do half a head and this would solve the probelm. After putting the colour in and when I was in foils, she said that to blowdry my hair would be £30 on top of the half head, which I assumed would be free as the first colour was not right. After standing and arguing with me I spoke to the manager who said I would not be charged and that my hair w
