Very nice quirky and intimate atmosphere with personal service from Stavros who quality controls work , not everyone's cup of tea , but certainly mine.
I went to Oskar Pink as they have 30% discount for new customers. When I booked the appointment I had to ask for the patch test (they did not mention it) and trim my fringe. They messed up my fringe so much (they couldnt cut it straigh and I could have done a better job myself) I cancelled the appnt
Oskar Pinks (specifically Stavros the owner) is great. The place is a slow burn, i.e. you need to get to know them, and they need to get to know you. I've been getting my hair cut there since it opened and I always, always, walk out happy with the cut - never before did I ever feel this at a hairdressers! Initially Stavros can be a little quiet and I guess people can misinterpret this as standoffishness. He really isn't. It takes a while to get to know him but once you do he really makes all efforts to ensure you're happy with his work. It's great value for a blokes cut - Stavros has cut loads of celebs hair (if that's your yardstick) and I can't imagine going anywhere else. Honest!
Had a cut and colour with Stavros and Gemma .Both Spent time on getting the look I wanted .I was very pleased with with the results and service I got.
all other hair salons I tried seem weak in comparison
Went in without a booking, thought the salon looked cool. But then had my hair cut, and I didn’t really get what I wanted, even after asking her to stop during the cut to review. Left quite annoyed, although she did offer to cut some more off if I came in another day. All in all, disappointing- I was expecting to get something cool, and left with something boring. The salon wasn’t in fact inviting or friendly, I’m not sure what the dynamic is but it didn’t have a good vibe. And at £41, it wasn’t cheap either. All in all- I wouldn’t recommend.
Had my haircut by Gregory and colour by Gemma.High end hairdressing at a reasonable price.Good edgy experience without the gimmicks, highly recommended!!
The hair cut they gave me was great, but not great for me. I simply was not listened to. Sharp lines around face don't suite me at all. I tried to explain my idea properly, but I guess this is their unique, edgy, award winning style, but I was asking for something else. The colour was ok, but really uninteresting.
had a cut and colour with stavros who owns the salon .I am a little suprised at the two previous reviews.Although hes leadership style can come across unorthadox. hes life and soul is put into the clients needs.I was more than happy with what i got and would recommend stavros to anyone.
Stavros is the best hairdresser I have ever come across - really passionate about what he does. He is amazing - would receommend him to everyone. He really cares about getting the right colours and is really focussed on what you want as a client. You leave looking and feeling amazing!
