As a woman I consider myself low maintenence , been having my haircut and colour for 2 years @ Q and always been happy, I moved to Balham and tried other salons in the area but after 6 months had to come back to Q For Hair to my usual confident hairdresser and again I'm as happy as ever . I like the products they use and always make me feel welcome.
My Tip is to phone in advance if you're a woman and want to have colour as although they do haircuts without appointments but for colour is safer to book in advance.

Probably the worst haircut thaat I have ever had. The hairdresser hacked at my hair throughout and I felt as though I was in some kind of competiton for the fastest haircut ever. Although they advertise as being a unisex salon, I realise now that they are only able to cut men's hair and not women's.
I will need to get my hair cut again now. It was a bad expereince and I would not recommend it.

We're very sorry that you felt that way, but we feel it was totally unfair, as you seemed to be annoyed from seing men having haircuts in the salon on your visit (as we do a walk in service for men) and you needed more time spent with you. We just wish that you told us if there was something that annoyed you so we can deal with it because we always ask before we cut at every stage of the haircut and show exactly how and much we will cut and only start after the client's approval, also we show the finished haircut and wait for the client's approal before we finish. Be assured that the hairdressers working on ladies haircuts have no less than 10 years of experience each and are very competent. Any client with any issue with HAIR or colour is always welcome to come back with open arms and have that issue resolved but please give us first a chance before giving a rating of this kind. Me and my boyfriend just moved to the area and we wore looking for a very very professional barber as we both work in fashion n have to be sharp n glam all time . We tried few in the area but they wore terrible tell we fund ( Q for hair ) ... I had my hair cut done by the Hungarian girl hayni and my boyfriend got his hair done by omed .. And let me tell you we wore super super happy , they really know how to cut hair they so lovely and welcoming and fast too ... So I definitely recommend it and we definitely going back !!

I've been using this place for 5 years, and who ever you get does a really good job. Nice and relaxed in there, they also trim your eyebrows which is a winner for me. I still go there even though I've moved out of the area. Must be one of the best mens barbers in London. Fast, good and nice people.

Love this hairdressers. No need to book an appointment just walk in and usually seen straight away or a short ten minute wait. The prices are really cheap too. I have quite long hair and usually get wash cut and blowdry with layers cut in and i am always happy with the result!! I like that there is no nonsense, not too much product used or over styling just a decent haircut that doesnt take too long.

Q FOR HAIR has been my regular barbers since I moved to london with my mates to work in the city 8 years ago they have great stylists that always seems to know exactly how to cut my difficult hair also their prices are down to earth, and I still go back there even after I left clapham as I think it's a little gem after trying so many places that pretend to be professional & will always recommend it to family and freinds.

I've been having my haircut there for the last 5 years it's always been great, I just have a seat and wait or Q for a haircut. the staff are freindly and seem to know what their doing, so I always recommend it to freinds and family when they visit from Oz.
