The other reviews are on this page are absolute rubbish and I felt compelled to sign up to the site in order to leave a review. I have been going to the salon for years now and I have never had a bad experience. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. The hairdressers are all good (based on the outcomes and smiles I see). Emma in particular is excellent!

I have been going to Willie Smarts for a couple of years and have always found them OK , and my hair always looked better after highlights. My regular stylist has now left and since that time, the standard has dropped.

The worst bit is phoning to make an appointment - the attitude of the girl on the other end was "take it or leave it". I am aware that customer service is dropping in most places, due to lack of proper training, and I feel that, as this is the first impression any new customer will have, this is the area that needs to be looked at.

I made a booking at Willie Smarts in Clapham Old Town as it close to home. I had booked for a cut and colour and was one of the last appointments of the evening. The whole time I was there my hairdresser talked about her plans for the evening and seemingly rushed to finish cutting my hair which took about 10 - 15 minutes max. I had asked for a trim and when she had finished cutting she hurriedly blow waved it saying "its looks better messy" and left it at that. The next day I washed my hair to find that only half of my head had actually been cut. I have layers all down the left handside and no layers or shape at all on the right handside. I have now had to go to another hairdressers where they were disgusted with the state of the colour and the cut and had to pay to have it all fixed. Now Im out of pocket over £200. Would never reccommend this salon to anyone.

My worst hairdresser experience since I was 14! From the moment I stepped inside to when I left I was lift feeling rushed and angry with the lack of service and quality of haircut and blow dry.

The salon itself was messy and deco/paint chipping off the wall. I had my hair washed with no gown on and made to wait for my hairdresser to arrive with wet hair dripping down my back. I was then told my hairdresser wouldnt have time to blow dry my hair and their 'BEST' assistant would take take of me. I found my hairdresser checking his watch as he was clearly running late didnt really listen to what I wanted. The girl who blowed my hair left me looking like I had been dragged through a bush my hair was left looking big and wirey not smooth and sliky like most professional blowdrys do. When I pointed this out the hairdresser told me to calm down and he was send someone to straigten it again this was rushed. No one seemed to care it was the conveyer experience and would NEVER go back there!!
