I usually really love Tony & Guy hair salons but this is by far one of the worst haircuts I’ve had done. The hairdresser did not listen to what I asked for at the start (even though I was the only person in the salon), so she only cut a cm off the bottom when I asked for it to have a few inches off. When I corrected her, she cut it the actual length but left loads of split ends and cut it all one length when I asked for it to be shaped around the face. It was a few weeks ago that I had this haircut with a style director as the salon and already the split ends have gotten much worse. Not happy about the service for the £70 or so spent on that occasion.

Every time I come to toni & guy wimbledon I always walk out feeling a million dollars! I have my hair coloured by Emma and cut with Katrina. They always do exactly what I ask for and last time they both recommended having some highlights which I went ahead with and love! The salon always has a welcoming friendly feel and I'm always greeted with smiles at reception. I'm surprised to see any negative reviews as I have recommended many friends and work colleagues that also are big wimbledon fans.

I have visited other toni and guys in the past but having just moved to the area I thought I would try the Wimbledon branch. Lucie my colour technician had an in depth consultation with me which I really appreciated as I was having a bit of a change and I couldn't be happier with the end result. After having the most amazing head massage at the basin, Beth cut my hair which is the best bob ive ever had. When I came to pay the receptionist was so lovely and even offered me a discount if I rebooked. which of course I have! Highly Recommended

After two visits I'm very dissapointed and will never use Toni and Guy again after using another branch for years. I feel that the whole chain is very arrogant and allow poorly trained staff to 'look after' customers. Very poor customer service - please improve to justify your prices. Shocked by how slovenly the staff look, act and treat customers. Magda for the colour was lovely though.
Please train staff fully before letting them wash hair and dry hair. This is part of what peoole pay for.
Please ask if its ok to be passed to an apprentice.
Please listen if someone cant hang around.

This is the worst hairdresser I have ever been to. My colour was awful and my hair was one inch shorter at one side than the other. Had to go to another salon to get it sorted as it looked so bad and they were shocked that a Senior Stylist had done my hair as the colour was uneven and different colours all over my head. Called to complain about service and haircut and was told Manager would call me back but never received the call. Staff were really unprofessional too, offered me a tea or coffee 4 times and by the end of the cut and colour I still did not have the tea I had asked for 4 times!

I went to see Jennifer here for a complete restyle. I went from long hair to a crop! I am delighted with the result and feel that Jennifer gave me a very good haircut.

I found the best hair dresser ever in Wimbledon Tony and Guy salon, he is a stylist, Alex. I have a difficult hair, and he is allways doing a great job!

ps.: Wimbledon salon reception staff not too nice...

I have been to Toni & Guy in Wimbledon twice. I have very long naturally curly hair which is difficult for most hairdressers to deal with, but the lovely man who cut my hair did a brilliant job. He advised me first on what he thought would best suit my hair and I was overjoyed with the results. I had my hair highlighted in another well know hair salon in Wimbledon (Sean Hanna)with disastrous results, the staff were very nice but the end result was awful, I know I should of gone back and got them to rectify it but just didn't trust them at all! so decided to give Toni and Guy a go. The colour lady (Sarah) was brilliant, she sat down with me for a good ten minutes discussing my options and giving me her advice to rectify the mess of colour my hair was in. After being there nearly 2 hours I left a very happy customer. The experience was lovely, I was pampered silly, had umpteen cups of coffee, was supplied with reading matter and generally made to feel very special. I am looking forward to my next visit to see if Sarah feels my hair is ready for high lights. I recommend this salon 100%. It may be rather expensive but I feel I definatly got my money's worth. Even the young girl (Holly) who washed my hair felt as if she was giving me a mini head massage...bliss! The staff in this salon are very approachable and polite in the extreme. And to make things even better I got a 20% discount as I work for the NHS :-)

I've had mixed experiences at this salon - but gernerally overall I would recommend. The majority of my visits have been good but my most recent appointment was probably the worst - I had my hair coloured and that was fine, the lady who did it was very lovely and knew what she was doing. When it came to the cut I had a different woman and she couldn't have been less interested! I barely got a chance to tell her what I wanted done before she'd finished and I didn't feel I got what I wanted at all - she didn't talk to me and she barely looked at me the whole time, she definitely looked bored. I felt like I was an nconvenience rather than a paying customer. Considering how expensive it is to get your hair done here you would expect first class service all the way...
One small gripe is the coffee they offer - nasty!! Not a fan of instant, would expect some nice fresh brewed stuff and a biscuit. But there you go!
But, as I said, the majority of my visits have been positive where the colourists and stylists have listened to me and offered ideas and I've walked out pretty happy with the result. I've also used the beauty salon upstairs and would highly recommend - got my nails painted with the gel/UV and thought it brilliant, lasted ages and the beautician was very good.

Attended the salon on a Sunday. Watched the stylist finish the cut of the woman beside me before beginning my own cut. Was surprised by his condescending tone, when speaking to the woman next to me(who seemed to just want some reassurance). Stylist seemed overwhelmed and incredibly negative. Complained about his last customer when starting my haircut, then proceeded to speak to me with the same disdain! Left feeling shocked and rather ripped off (£52) with a very average cut. Won't return. Toni & Guy Putney offers a far superior service and level of professionalism.
