I went there for blow dry and first thing she said it was we dont do curly blow dry with the brush!!!
She was so rude to me from the beginning,and then she was like we only do straight blow dry ,i said ok snd she in 5 minutes she just made dry my hair,I was shocked my hair was so fizzy with no style,when I complained they eere all laughing at me and speaking in their own language!
I would never ever go back!
it was terrible customer service!

Sadly I’ve been having my hair blow dried every week for the past 14 years.
And for the past few years I’ve been using a different salon.
But unfortunately I was unable to get my hair done at my new place that I went to see if I could get an appointment
Firstly they had a rather pretentious greeting made me feel awkward about going there after so long, they then responded with “what happened to your other hair dresser?” I came up with an embarrassing reason. The lady was good at the hair wash but repeatedly said my hair was dry, didn’t offer a treatment but insisted that had to do with my new hairdresser who doesn’t know about my hair.
The style was nice but a bit dated, but looked fine. Unfortunately, since I was no longer a regular “loyal” customer they vamp’d up their prices by £10. (33%).
In addition the staff “****ed” about every customer in their store in Chinese ( i worked in China I picked up on this).

if you want to do a radical change I suggest you not to go there I have been there many times but my last visit was disaster I had medium long hair I wanted to change to short hair I showed the lady picture with what I want but she didn't to exactly after she finish she use clay to stilly my hair was ok look fine but was not my style messy hair When I washed my hair home next day I realised was a MESS what she did my hair was shorter that I wanted and no line on the front looks fine but on back is like she cut the first time no line and disaster what she did.She mess up I will NEVER GO THERE have a look at pict

I went to this salon for the first time, I was very nervous as I was recently left with a really bad hair colour. The staff here were amazing! The man that did my hair was so thorough and such a perfectionist. Even the hair wash was the best I've ever had, much better than at top salons.
I cannot recommend this hair salon enough. I will definitely be returning. Don't be put off by the fact it's not a plush looking salon, it's the quality of the hairdressing that counts.

Went here for the first time on New Year's Eve, was apprehensive about doing my hair here as I am very fussy and don't usually go anywhere new, I have to say I was pleasantly supprised, the lady who did my hair was so pleasant even though she was run off her feet she did an excellent job and I will definetly be returning. Also it's very good value!

I moved to Colindale a year ago and feel incredibly lucky to have stumbled upon the Likes. I didn't have high expectations, but they have exceeded all of them- they book me in last minute, are always friendly and welcoming and remember my name, a truly fabulous personal service. My hair is very difficult to work with (wiry, curly) and they have never complained. What's more, they do exceptional blowdries- I can say I've been everywhere for blow dries and theirs are no question top of the bunch. And yet they are more affordable! A hidden gem and they deserve your business.

I am a regular customer of The Likes hairdressers. I THINK they're really good. I always go to "Joanna" because she knows how I like my hair but I think they're all pretty good to be honest with you. Yes, there is a slight language barrier but my hairdresser seems to understand me so I'm not complaining. The decor is not posh or anything, but they know how to cut hair and they use the top brands for colouring hair. So if you're not too stuck-up and looking for a GOOD haircut and not too fussy about your surroundings then I would recommend this place to you. It's worth giving them a try

My partner has hair hair cut here all the time and he is very fussy, he always goes to frankie a male hairdresser who he raves about all the time. So i tried it and was very happy with the results had my fringe cut and blow dry by joanna very friendly and welcoming. will keep going back.

I have been to this salon a number of times. I am usually satisfied with my cut or colour but the attitude of a lot of the staff leaves a lot to be desired. The last time I went to the salon was on a very important occassion, I had to be at a Christening later that day, I had booked my appointment days before and was confident I would have enough time to have my hair cut and get to the church on time. HOWEVER, when I got there, the guy behind the desk began insisting that I had booked an appointment at a later time, which I had not, I knew what time i needed my appointment! Here however it appears the customer is not always right and I was left waiting for so long, whilst others went ahead of me, that I was nearly late for the Christening. So I do not go here anymore and I wouldn't reccomend it. That is not the only problem, I have been to many hairdressers in my time and I have never found one where the staff are as critical of my hair. I do not want to be told that my hair is dry constantly! It becomes offensive. The staff have quite a dismissive rude air about them and their is a language barrier too.
