This salon needs a complete overhaul.prices are never consistant i have to question my bill every time and often get told its a higher price because i had a conditioning treatment.i have never asked for a treatment so i do not need £10 added to my bill for the privilege, unless I'm asleep when i have the treatment i don't recall even having it. i didn't get the drink i was offered TWICE on my last (and final) visit so i gave up asking.on questioning my last bill i asked to speak to the manager who i did not know he was a manger as he has no presence he told me pay or leave.i will never go ba

Went to Hobs in Totteridge for a haircut with Davis who gave me exactly what i wanted. I have stopped dying my hair and was put under no pressure to start again(something that happens in Italy where I live). Lauren gave me a great head massage. All the staff were pleasant and friendly, top marks all round.

ive been going to hob whetstone for 18 months i see lee for highlights and kezi for cuts.im always pleased with my hair and get what i want. my highlights have never been better and lee really helped me get rid of the stripes i had in my previous salon zarlo. my wonderful stylist kezi has left recently and i saw nadia twice she took my layers too short and im growing it back.ive not tried another stylist yet but go to lee for colour he insures my hair is rough dried off. the products are lovely so are the staff my only concern is the salon looks messy at busy times overall im very happy

I have had the same hairdresser for almost 6 years, with my sisters wedding fast approaching my hairdresser left on maternity leave. After asking friends on any reccomadations on good hair stylists a few mentioned hob in whetstone.

So i had nothing to lose so off i went.
On arriving at the salon i was bold over by the welcome i received the receptionists was very friendly!!!
I was introduced to my stylist and colourist and i explained the importance of the upcoming event that i needed to look spectacular for. They immediatly put me at ease and went through the option i had also telling me what would suit my stlye and face shape. i decided to go with what they adviced would work best which was a lot shorter than i had been used to and a totally differnt colour, from a flat colour to somthing with highlights and softer tones.

Throughout the process i was well looked after being offered drinks and magazines and a wonderful headmassage when it was time to wash the colour out. all off which i was not used to at my previous salon.
I was also shown by my stylist some tips on how to dry my hair at home and what styling products would work well. Which i have used at home and i can ACTUALLY do myself.

The end result was an absolute shock but amazing!!
A shorter length actually gave me a jaw line, and the colour softened to my face giving me a glow, i never relised what a difference a change in hair could do.
The stylist and colourist made sure i was 100% happy with the new look.
on leaving the salon i was also offered a 10% discount on my next visit if i booked in my next appointment .

sufficient to say i did.
thankyou hob whetstone

I received a voucher off a friend that entitles me to get 50% off. I had my hair coloured and trim. The colour was OK, not really what I wanted but the cut was the most dissapointed part. Tony who did my hair first told me that my style was old fashioned and he dont feel comfortable cutting it, then said that I have to trust him, he cut my hair(no style to it)and 2 weeks on I still regret it, not sure what he tried but it clearly did not work and made me feel even worse after telling me my style was old fashioned and was not comfortable cutting it. I will never go back, miss my old style, what he has tried looks like I gave a pair of scissors to a 8 year old and said crack on...... I dont recomend them, I would never go back there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
