The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Mohammed especially really put an effort in making sure that I am happy with their services. I have never experienced such great service from Specsavers before. To be frank all the staff that have seen me that day did an amazing job. I really I recommend people to get tested from dalston -cross Specsavers.

I have been a regular pateint of Specsavers since 2001. I first joined when I was a student.
However I am now working and have to pay for everything.
They do have cheap spectacles and lenses, but after some research I realised that pentax rights are actually owned by specsavers and the other thing is, these lenses are no different to other places.
After very poor service by not replacing my frame under warranty when my frames broke after only 1 month, I decided to leave them.
I now use an independant company who are marginally more expensive, but the service I get is second to none. I also like the fact that I see familar faces and they understand my eyes when I return. Also they are happy enough to say hello and ask how I am etc... Where as staff seem to change every year with the Specsavers I went to. This includes the opticians.

First time I've had my eyes tested since being at school and I have to say it could not have been conducted better than by the staff in the Dalston branch.
The eye test itself was just over £16 which I thought very reasonable and the glasses I eventually chose were from the £75 range which meant that I bought one and got another pair from the same range free so I'll have a pair for home and a pair for work. This meant that all in I paid just over £91 for an eye test and 2 pairs of specs.
All in all £37.50 for a pair of glasses is a pretty good deal however you look at it and they come with Pentax lenses and an anti-scratch coating. I was recommended to have an Ultra clear coating too for an extra £30 as I use them for computer work but luckily my wife was with me and said I wouldn't really need it so I opted out of that and received no argument from the staff. Therefore no hard sell for me = good customer service!
By the end of my visit and with my glasses chosen (I now need them due to getting old which was quite sad) I was highly impressed with every one of the staff who helped me on my journey to specdom and there were around 6 of them. With a great mix of ready smiles and serious professionalism the visit was made a very enjoyable experience indeed from the moment I stepped through the door. All of the procedures were well explained and any questions I had were readily answered.
Basically if you need glasses or just an aye test and live around the area near Dalston do not hesitate to pop in to Specsavers.
