Great haircut and beard trim. Friendly service by Tony and “The Leader”. Miff Chichester

I've moved away but go back as my local more expensive barber is not so good.

Great price in a generally expensive part of town. I go here regularly and always get a consistently good cut. There is good attention to detail - wash and cut as standard and care taken to ensure that everything is neatly finished. Would definitely recommend.

I've been going somewhere else for the last 15 years but having moved jobs I cycled past Tony's and thought I'd give it a go. Used clippers on the back and side, scissors on top, gave it a wash, bit of gel and I was done. Very pleased with my hair cut, good price and I'll go back. That's the best endorsement there is.

Despite the unassuming look of Tony's shop, he is a really good and professional barber who understands cutting and shaping very well. I live locally and have been coming in for haircuts for over ten years. I really enjoy talking with Tony and swapping news. He's a real treasure in an increasingly tough and impersonal world. His prices are modest and the experience is uplifting.

I have been going to Tony's for 10 years now and have never been disappointed. I always get a great haircut at a good price and all in a nice environment. Even though I recently moved from the neighbourhood I still cross London to go back regularly for a trim.

I've been going to Tony's for more than 6 years now; I've moved out of the area now and I still drive back over the weekend for my haircut. Tony offers what I'd think most men want from a barber: little wait, quick cut, great quality, reasonable price, good conversation. A little gem in Marylebo

I've been going to Tony since I moved to the area 2 years ago. I know how I like my hair cut and was not looking for a stylist. I find Tony to be professional and interesting to speak with. The second time i went in (about 2 months after my first cut), he remembered me and how I like my hair cut.

I have been going to Tony's for over six years so it's a review based on over sixty haircuts versus the one visit by the previous reviewer. First comment - it's a barber shop, a bog standard barber shop and doesn't pretend to be anything else. So, if you have previously had a "stylist" then this is probably the wrong place for you. You will get a decent, regular no frills hair cut. (Although I have been to several other hairdressers/stylists/barbers in Marylebone over the years and, while some charged a lot more, the quality of the cut isn't that different.)
Second, the barber (Tony) is friendly once you get to know him - he and I chat regularly about football, family, his home country of the Lebanon, and more football. Again, I have had more inane/non-existent conversations at other hair cutters in the area. Tony is unlikely to win any stylist of the year awards but he doesn't pretend to be anything other than a barber. If you are a regular bloke who just wants a regular hair cut, he is absolutely fine.

Iv just moved into the area, and having been to the same stylist for several years prior to this I knew it would have a lot to live up to. Price for a haircut here is £13 which for London seems cheap enough, but I paid around the same price at the previous place I went to so had good expectations. I was wrong.
Good points first..there was no queue, I got my hair cut
Bad points: 1. there was no queue (think empty restaurant, there's a reason its empty!)
2. It was too quick, a 10min hair cut, seems quite poor value for money.if I'm paying over £10 I would expect some care to be taken rather than just chop away at it.
3. No care.the guy didn't seem to care, no chat, just grunting too short? Too long etc?
4. Safety. The speed and lack of care meant I didnt feel too comfortable and couldn't wait to get out into safety again
5. Had to put my own gel in...that was the final straw
Oh and did I mention I had to go and get it corrected because it was done so bad.
In short if you want a mid priced hair cut in rapid time and don't care too much about the results, this place is for you. However, if you want care, time and good value to be spent on your hair then go elsewhere
