I was treated terribly trying to make a booking at Amadeus Hair in Holborn. I was excited to have received a gift from my sister for a cut and colour and was not aware it was a Groupon voucher when I made the booking. When they called me to confirm, I told them it was Groupon whereby I was treated terribly and told that the manager (who was initially going to cut my hair) could not do my hair anymore as he needed to help his regular customers first. The man on the telephone made me feel like a criminal for not having told them it was a Groupon at the time of booking. Disgusting treatment.

Absolutely shocking service from this salon. I missed an appointment (a Groupon booking), I called to apologise and rearrange, only to be passed onto a manager. I was shocked at the tirade of abuse I received over the phone, I asked him to calm down and stop shouting at me, but he continued to ask how his stylist felt having to stand and wait on me, and how they were now going to feed their children due to my missing my appointment.

I requested to book an alternative appointment, but was told my voucher was now void. I was shock up by the call, and can't believe how I was treated.

I bought a Groupon voucher for a cut and colour at Amadeus, Holborn.
I am so pleased with the way Jason cut my hair (restyle) and the colour is fab!

Thank you so much.

I visited this salon today to have highlights put in my thick dark brown hair as i got a deal from wowcher. I was 10 mins late however as soon as i entered the shop i was seen very quickly. I didnt get a consultation from a 'senior' styist as promised on the wowcher website. The staff were friendly and i was offered tea/coffee 3 times. I was given the same magazine 3 times lol.

Overall the highlights on my hair look really good however they look abit orange rather then blonde.. this may be due to the red undertones in my hair. would reccomend

Nice airy salon with a very friendly feel and seems very much part of the local community. Warm welcome as I stepped to through the door was matched by the friendliness and professionalism of my stylist Aniko.

Aniko was very knowledgeable about choice of colour and wisely advised what route I should follow. The quality of the hair colouring products was excellent and left no nasty smell. My hair cut was excellent and she took on board my worries about thinning hair and moved my parting.

Thoroughly recommended and I will be back.

I used Amadeus in March 2014 through my Wowcher. Firstly I was welcomed as soon as I entered, offered tea, coffee water. I was then introduced to Aniko, she spent sometime advising me about colours, then which cut would suit me best. I was again offered refreshments. I was very impressed with the service I received, nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely was Amadeus again, with Aniko, even though from leaving my house(in Bromley)to returning it took over 5 hours.Amadeus was definitly worth it. The colour and cut were fantastic. Thank you Aniko.

Been using this salon for years. Have had various stylists over the years, but mainly Jason and Peter. Peter has been cutting my hair for at least 10 years now. I have quite difficult curly hair and he knows exactly how to cut it and keep it under control. Would recommend and often do.

I went here in August for a cut and colour. It was terrible! My hair looked so bad when I left the colour was extremely patchy and ginger, and not the nice kind of ginger!! I made it clear to the staff that I was not happy with my hair and they were rude and made no suggestions on how to correct the colour. So in the end I had to get it corrected at a decent reputable salon. This was not the service that I paid for and expected.

I have. Just used my wowcher. Veronika cut and high lighted my hair. I had a great hair cut and colour. Very friendly service. Was offered coffee twice. I will be going back.

Have been going to Amadaeus for years. Jason is great and very easy to get along with. Cut and colour are always good. Always offered tea or coffee. Not cheap but not too expensive.

I have been going to Amadeus since June 2012 and always have Mito cut my hair. The cut is excellent, as is the service (despite what other reviews say!) and prices are reasonable too for London.

The other great point about Mit is that he gets on and cuts your hair without all that dreadful banal chit chat - like "have you booked your holiday yet?" which I personally can't stand.

I have been having my hair done at Amadeus every month for years. The staff are always courteous and accommodating, even if I am held up or need to change an appointment. The cut and colour get me compliments and I would not go anywhere else.

I booked my appointment at Amadeus through Groupon. I immediately had a call to say there was a problem with my booking and I had to change it. The way I was spoken to was very unprofessional and made me feel uneasy about going there straight away.

When I arrived, 5 minutes late (which I had said would likely be the case and was why I had originally booked a later time), the same man that I had spoken to on the phone made it very obvious that they were very put out and almost told me off saying things such as "well this hasn't got off to a good start has it."

He made it clear that I wasn't a valued customer as I had bought the deal through Groupon. I wasn't offered a cup of tea when the other customers were and when I asked for one after about half an hour, the girl forgot and I had to ask again after an hour.

The hairdresser who did my hair did an average job but I felt uneasy until the moment I left.

Pretty poor service, rude staff. Was made to feel bad because I was late (despite staff saying it was fine to be late prior to appointment - they didn't know how to use the booking system either which made me feel uneasy). I had a cut and colour here three months ago which was fine. (Nice colour, cut pretty average) but service was not great then either.
