I am so disappointed with how much the standard of Anesis has dropped. Their high turn over of staff has resulted in all my favourite therapists and hairdresser leaving. I used to have my HD Brows, LVLs and all my waxing done with Anesis. I however will not be returning to Anesis. The 'manager' is one of the rudest men I have ever encountered and has no place being in customer service and the treatments I had with yet ANOTHER new therapist were substandard at best. I can't even afford this place one star.

Very good hair cut. Lovely head massage to start, a hairdresser who listened to what I wanted and minimal small talk! Everything I was looking for :-)

Being a fan of HD Brows I was really disapointed with this place. They do the treatment in the reception area. Anyone who walks in the door or is paying can view you and it made me feel VERY uncomfortable. The chairs are not relaxing at all.Suggest they do this treatment in a room like other salons.

Thank you for visiting Anesis Spa. I am sorry you were unhappy with having your treatment in our ground floor brow bar on chairs purchased from HD Brows specifically for this service. The majority of our brow and lash treatments take place in our ground floor brow and lash bar area which is directly behind reception. However we have always allowed clients to book their treatment in a private room if they wish, this need only be mentioned when booking.

As a reputable spa with many many excellent reviews we aim to give every client a 5* service and hope we can regain your goodwill by having the treatment carried out on your next visit in on of our 5 treatment rooms.

Kind regards

Booked for HD Eyebrows. The online booking system booked me in on a day when they were closed, but the really helpful FOH lady called, and apologised that there had been a problem with their booking system. The treatment was great and really well executed. Impressed with the results.

A friend and I got a deal online, including 2 30 min fish spa treatments, 2 60min swedish massages and 2 glasses of champagne. Once we had booked it I was a bit apprehensive about going as I started to come across some really bad reviews online but I needed have worried the whole experience was fabulous.

We were called the day before to ensure we were coming and when we arrived everyone was fantastically friendly and professional. The fish treatment was great, the atmosphere is lovely and you feel you are in a top end spa.

The massages were great, I was asked about areas I wanted to focus on, areas I wanted to avoid and left feeling AMAZING. I felt really well looked after, comfortable and pampered. I would definitely go back for other treatments in the future. Full price the spa is not cheap but I would be prepared to pay the extra for another great experience in the future.

ive been there a few times and the manager is ridiculously rude everytime - you just get used to it - i think thats just her personality.
Response from Sara Front of House Manager
We recently came across your review of our spa on allinlondon.com and we were deeply saddened to find that you had an unsatisfactory experience due to one of our staff members being rude. We are now aware that this staff member had upset a number of our clients and subsequently, this staff member is no longer an employee at Anesis. Please accept our most sincere apologies.

I visited Anesis as part of a Wahanda voucher deal, which entitled me to two deluxe piscean pedicures for the price of one. I took my Mum with me for her birthday. It was something we had never done before, and we were really looking forward to it. My Mum had booked the appointment over the phone, and from the outset had said how difficult the woman she spoke with was. She didn't make the booking process very easy, and was at times verging on rude. When we did arrive for our appointment, we were greeted by the same lady. It seemed that everything about her job was stressful for her, which started with the fact that my Mum needed her nail varnish removing, which I said I would do. When we were led to the tanks her instructions to us weren't crystal clear, and she almost had a fit when we were about to lower our feet into the fish without our feet being washed first! The beautican technicians who buffed and painted our nails after the fish had worked their magic were great, and easy to talk to whilst we sat back and sipped our complimentary glass of champagne. The feeling when we lowered our feet into the fish was at first really peculiar, and very tickly, but we soon got used to it, and sat back and relaxed. Generally the whole experience was a good one, but we did have to make a great effort to ignore the stresses of the manager who seemed to spend the whole time we were there flapping around and speaking quite sternly to both her customers and her junior employees. This is a great novelty thing to do, and lovely as a present. I would advise to look out for deals which seem to come round quite often, because as good as it is, I think £45 per person would be more than I would want to spend.
