My husband and I have been to the Remedie Rooms several times before and always found it to be a well run local business. I try to support local businesses so booked a treatment. I had feedback from my booking that they we concerned I would potentially no -show. I understand that small businesses need to keep a tight slot and dont want to waste a booking. Believe me I understand that. However, the manner of communication was rude and inappropriate.
I followed up to say that i felt they needed to adjust their tone and have been involved in a ping pong email exchange where it has been made abundantly clear to me that this business has NO customer focus, and a poor understanding of customer service and they will not acknowledge that their tone was inappropriate.
What a shame they are let down by customer service.

I had a pre-wedding pedicure here on Saturday. I have never had such a poor treatment, the skin around my big toe nails and two others is red and abraded and I can only hope they are looking OK for my wedding in 6 days time. For some reason they did cut my toenails, leaving them all different lengths. I have just removed the varnish they applied and cut them. Two of my toenails had been filed on the surfaces so hard they had become incredibly thin and were splitting, horizontally, half way down! I have managed to save both toenails by cutting them very short (they would have got caught in something and been ripped off otherwise. I had a spray tan, waxing and facial at this salon before which were OK but definitely won;t be going back after this! I will repaint them myself in a couple of days...
