Have been going here since Jays first opened in the late 80s / early 90s.
Best halal denim in town! Favourite place in London, great place to find Mexican cola!

I lived in Brockley and Mile end in the 90s and it was Jays where I have always bought my Levis. The staff were always there to help to choose a different color or fit. I have being back to London on occasion over the past 20 years and I always try to visit. A shop that will always have what you need.

I used to buy all my gear from Jay's way back in 1974 when I lived in the area. Having driven past it on a number of occasions in the intervening years I was delighted to discover that it is still run by the same family and is basically unchanged - by which I mean a fantastic selection of jeans, boots and jackets in hard-to-find styles - classic Harringtons and Monkey boots to name just a couple. Great service, great prices and a wealth of knowledge - highly recommended!

The small staff are so friendly, always want to have a giggle. And the boss is the nicest guy - he really knows his stuff. There's not a guy on the planet who knows more about jeans and steel-toe-caps than the boss! Jeans too, this shop is just amazing, and such good prices too.
