Nisha, who heads up Kyle's, designed a "bespoke" wedding set for me, comprising of a head-dress, earrings, and a pair of hand ornaments (bracelets attached to rings, so your whole hand is bejewelled!)

I was thrilled with the design, and the customer service is excellent - Nisha was very friendly, took a lot of time helping me choose the style of my jewellery, and my whole set was made in less than 3 weeks.

The "bespoke" service is actually only an adaptation service of existing styles, and to call it "bespoke" or "designer", (as Kyle's do) is somewhat misleading, so I have knocked a point off for that in my review.

I have also taken a point off because of the price - my jewellery cost around £340, which is insane for what is essentially costume jewellery, and even more expensive than the classic costume jewellers such as Erickson Beamon and Kenneth Jay Lane, even YSL.

More importantly (and something I only discovered afterwards), the jewellery is made of nickel, pretty much the cheapest and basest base metal there is out there. It gave me a terrific rash across my forehead (where my head-dress had been) and ear-lobes (where my earrings had been) the day after my wedding. The rash (which I now know to be contact dermatitis) was very sore, itchy and inflamed, not to mention unsightly, and basically made the first few days of my honeymoon a right pain! Even the cheapest costume jewellery in Topshop is hypoallergenic, so this carelessness on Kyle's part, especially considering the prices they charge, is inexcusable.

I have managed to salvage the jewellery by giving it a coat of Seche Vite clear nail lacquer, so all is not lost, but do learn from my experience...
