I bought some paper and an ink cartridge from the Rymans store at 430 The Strand on the afternoon of Friday 7th December. In the queue to pay I felt rather uncomfortable about the gentleman in the queue behind me as he moved very close, in a slightly intimidating way. The shop assistant observed this, asked if we were together, and hearing no, firmly but politely asked him to step back which he did. I was so impressed that she had observed the situation and was able to handle it so sensitively. A small thing, but on a busy day in London, it's special when a busy cashier manages to go the extra mile. I am sorry that I don't know her name- but thank you.
