Marks & Spencer is now a world famous department store selling everything from clothes and home furnishings to food. The clothes are very reasonably priced, while the food is predominantly known for their ready-prepared meals. The Food Department opens at 8am from Monday to Friday.

I've been here quite a few times and have always found it clean, the staff helpful and the layout very intuitive. Would have no hesitation in going again whenever the need arises which must mean that they're getting something right. I can't comment on the phone service mentioned by the previous reviewer as I haven't used it.

i am on hold for the 5th time in 45 mins, customer service seems to be the fitting room in ealing and loading in chiswick. oxford st just disconnects after 3 messages saying you're next in cue. sucks i give them a 0 out of 10 but the site is rigged. figures

went to m & s uxbridge service terrible so went to oxford street - great service
PS bought a couple of items from a downmarket shop where everthing is under a pound after M&S uxbridge can you believe it the service was far better than my favourite store

I totally agree with the previous review. I went to M&S Oxford St yesterday and was so v dissapointed with the service. Later in the day I went to the Edgware branch and found the sales assistants very helpful. They seemed much happier individuals.
It was pleasant to shop there and I did buy something.

After attending a meeting in High Holborn on Friday 19th June I had time left before my train home to the Midlands so decided to shop on Oxford Street in the late afternoon, and went for my favourite shop, Marks and Spencer. I was very disappointed with the service and the total impact. There were only 2 assistants on the front service area on the ground floor, and both looked totally fed up! The may have been fed up about being left on their own, as there were large queues of women waiting to be served and buy their goods. The female assistant tried to make conversation, but it didn't match how she appeared. The other assistant seemed as if she was trying to go as slow as possible
The security guard looked fed up!
There also appeared to e no air conditioning so it felt very uncomfortable.
Yes, I did buy something, but I won't be going back to Oxford Street to shop in Marks and Spencer again.
