Would give zero if I could. For the second year I've bought a balloon that start deflating before I got home. Balloons very expensive. Will never purchase again from Cards Galore. Card factory so much better.

They are soooo rude!!! Their policy doesn't state anywhere that you cannot return to any Cards Galore center, so when I tried to return at a different location she just said "no!"and was VERY mean!! NEVER SHOP HERE!!!

I had a similar experience to the people above. I bought an anniversary card for my wife. When I went to write the card, the greeting inside said Happy Birthday, and not the stated anniversary greeting. When I went to return the card I got no apology, in fact she was very dismissive and rude.

I bought a charm bracelet from Cards Galore in Liverpool Street. The bracelet broke within two wks. I took it back to Liverpool Street and the extremely rude sales assistant reluctantly agreed to give me a replacement. Within a week this one had broken too. The bracelets are obviously badly made. I tried to return this bracelet to Cards Galore in Angel. I was rudely told that I would have to take the bracelet back to Liverpool Street. I myself own a shop and know the Sale of Goods Act 1979 pretty well. As Cards Galore is NOT a franchise, legally they should have taken the bracelet back. I then tried to take it back to a Cards Galore on Oxford Street and was once again, rudely told they would not help! I was gob smacked at how rude the staff are in all the shops! I do not live in London and can't believe I have to make my way back to Liverpool Street to return the faulty bracelet.
I am now reporting them to Trading Standards as what they are doing is illegal. They said it was 'policy' not to accept goods from other shops! Beware of buying anything from these shops...they are happy to take your money but won't help if something breaks! Absolutely awful company with horrible staff.

I bought a book, among other items, from Cards Calore Angel at 8:30 this morning. It turned out to be the wrong one, and I tried to return it 4-5 hours later during my lunch hour.

The extremely rude girl behind the till immediately barked at me that I couldn't do this, because it's a book - and I might have read it in between buying and returning it!! I was polite and tried to explain, but she was immediately aggressive and extremely defensive before I had even had time to speak. She refused to take into account 1. that it is a childrens book that I wouldn't want to read anyway 2. it is in immaculate condition still or 3. that I have been at work all day without time to be reading books!!

I was disgusted with the rudeness and inflexibility. The man who served me in the morning was even stood next to the rude assistant and he did not step in and help at any point. I would never use this shop again - it's overpriced and just not worth visiting over a shop where you can actually expect a decent refund policy and polite customer care.
