Being an ex-pat livingn in a small village in Normandy, France there is not really any choice of model shop. However, as I have relatives in Ealing I stumbled accross this shop and what a shop it is. The owner is very friendly and his range of models and knowledge is excellent. Now, everytime I go to London I always make a point of visiting this shop. A real modeler's paradise!!!

Was down in London for the Capital One Cup, and needed cheering up, so made trip to this as it was less than a mile from the hotel, and right next to Northfields underground.
What a little gem of a shop. Spent a good half hour chatting to the owner, really interesting and charming man. So jealous of his situation. This is like my dream scenario for a "job".
Anyway, if you are in London, check the opening hours, and make a trip. Half hour from central london on the piccadilly line. You wont be disappointed.

There is not much space for customers as its full of gems! The range if models is simply amazing, prospectors beware! Honest owner, good prices and the customer comes first, he gives you all the imfo then its up to you ( cash point at Sainsburys)! This shop is well worth a visit but once you have been once you will want to come again and again, why go anywhere else?
I send my requirements ahead so that when I arrive in the UK I have a better chance of having them waiting for me, cant wait to visit in 2013.

A absolute must for the railway modelor.
Vitech a wonderful owner, so helpful. One useful tip, this is not a quick visit store, set aside a couple of hours and even that will notbe enough

I must agree with 'Newbie'. Vtech the owner has all the patience in the world to help a customer. His prices are very fair and he will even round prices down. He never pushes a sale, he wants satisfied return customers. And I am one of them.

I felt I had to write a review of this shop because it’s the kind of shop that has almost disappeared. It’s an Aladdin’s cave with collectables like Meccano and Hornby tinplate that I’ve been looking for for ages. It’s managed by a guy who is very helpful, fair with his prices and friendly. He doesn’t seem to be in it just because of the money but because he wants to promote modelling.

It seems that there’s a lot of stuff arriving from Hornby and Bachmann. There’s lots of second hand Scalextric and railways as well as die-cast. I noticed a fair bit of Subbuteo on offer too and there are shelves of books and magazines, mainly to do with railways.

If you visit you won’t be disappointed!!
