We've been using Wolfe & Scott for 5 years (so far!) and have always been extremely pleased with the service, the staff are all lovely, friendly and are happy to take time over serving you.
We love the old fashioned set up and service, my sons liken it to Ollivanders :-)

The shop is adequate and fit for purpose... They need an internet site desperately!!

We got there quite early so we were the first to be served. The service was very good and they were very helpful. There items of clothing is very good quality and have been linked with my school for years. Unfortunatly it was rather expensive and I went to other stores for my shirts and P.E kit since it was cheaper elsewhere. 8/10 from me.

I went at 10:30 on a Monday and it was already busy. We just squeezed in and expected to wait but to my surprise another shop assistant appeared and we were served straight away.
They were very helpful even when my young son didn't want to try things on.

The shop is well stocked and the service is excellent but it really is very small so go early, avoid weekends and don't take a buggy.

I have used Wolfe & Scott since my daughter was 3 years old and she is now 13 (10 years) I have found all members of staff to be very polite, knowledgable and very experienced as they are a family run shop. The quality is superb as they mostly specialise in uniforms for private schools local and beyond. They also can take orders over the phone and deliver to the school which saves times for family having to drive to Dulwich as we do not live near to the area. Over the years I have found them to be very courteous and we call each other on first name terms as all members of staff are just like family. I am very upset about the awful review of 2008 at an angry parent who wants to vent her problems to such an established and specialist uniform outfitter. From CROYDON

This is a very small shop and it feels like stepping back in time. As with all ‘school shops’, you feel ripped off as the school forces you to use it and the prices are high. However, it isn’t fair to compare these sort of shops with the big chains and it does not imply that the shop itself is adding a huge mark-up.

On the plus they really know their stuff and have given good advice (even when detrimental to them). Parking near the shop is difficult, but they do deliver and pick up from the school.

Finally, in my experience of dealing with the staff, over 3 years, I have always found them polite, friendly and courteous.

The service is superb with very helpful shop assistants. Nothing is ever too much. And for busy parents they even deliver to school. So it is sometimes a mere telephone call to the shop and the items are delivered within the week. Many thanks for you help in our busy life.

Sorry, its impossible to be constructive. If one cannot say what they feel and what their miserable experiences have been not once but several times , why bother to keep the reviewing option? Get prepared to read this , please....

If it was'nt the want of the school that the uniforms strictly be bought from there, believe me no one would have stepped into the shop, infested with staff who know nothing about kindness or politeness and throw their attitude around. For heaven sake, it is'nt a charity shop , we pay for the uniforms we buy and we pay big time!!!!It could help the company to train their staff not to lash their tongue harshly and to not discriminate people .

It is a pain for parents to know that the year is beginning and that we have to go to get our uniforms from Wolfe and Scott.
Just another thought,I am sure the company makes so much profit, why not think of increasing the shop space a little ,so that people can stand there atleast without falling on each other and can breathe some fresh air.

Never seen any other shop where the staff behave so rudely...(hope this is not a selective attitude)
Have your say
