This has been absolutely gem of a find! I took two pairs of beloved designer old boots which were approx 15 years old and falling apart. They were mended to a brilliant standard, they feel like new.
I thought the price was great along with the time it took to mend them.
Customer service ideal.
I can’t wait to take some more leather good to them.
Highly recommended!

I have used Mathews for about 15 years and have had to buy very few new shoes in that time as they have maintained my everyday wear in such good condition. No task is too difficult for them, and it is unusual to find such craftsmanship these days. They charge a fair price and provide excellent service, and always do the job by the stated time. I note that one reviewer found them rude. I can assure you that that is not the case : both father and son are quiet and self-effacing, and their manner has clearly been misunderstood. They are usually too busy to indulge in idle chat, but catch them at a quiet time and they are fun to talk to.

these guys are totally brilliant! absolute professionals and a pleasure to deal with. I took a pair of brand new Jimmy choo boots to them that my puppy had destroyed. they have restored them to their former glory, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Unless you are seriously penny scrimping on shoes you don't want to let go of then why you would go anywhere else but Mathews is beyond me. Friends always showing me there rubbish repairs from other places but mine are always returned sublime and every time they last and last!

Excellent, really know what they are doing. Replaced the soles on a pair of my boots. All done in a matter of days, properly stitched and well priced. Do yourself a favour and walk past Timpson's etc and go here - you won't be paying much more and they'll do the job properly and quickly!

This is the best show repair shop ive ever been too. Very friendly man, always fixes my shoes very well and they always last. He also offers key cutting which ive used before. 10 out of 10.
