Went across the city to take my boots to be resoled. They looked nice when I picked them up but the sole was already coming off the toe after 3 wears. I emailed the shop for a refund and was offered another repair. I didn't want to pay to go across the city again (drop off and pickup) so we tried to arrange a UPS. For some reason, the label would not work and the shop owner gave up and told me to just come in. Since I have to travel so far, I would have spent about 20 quid total in travel for a 50 pound repair, which seems silly. They refuse to give a refund or store credit. I was also told that they are being too generous anyways with trying to arrange a delivery service (which failed anyways). Was also told that the bad repair was my fault since the shoes looked kicked (I did not kick them, just went on a walk three times, once in Holland park). By the end, the emails got very rude, and the shop owner corrected my math since I rounded the price of transport to accommodate for off peak and rush hour fares.
If you want a decent repair for an average pair of leather soled black boots, maybe try somewhere else. Don't bother trying for a refund if the repair is faulty.

Super friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend a visit, I'll be saying cobblers to any other cobblers now I've found this gem! This is a different level.

It was hugely disappointing to discover that you wee closed at 5:40pm on Friday even though your website clearly states you are open until 6pm. I appreciate that you want to go home early, but guess what - so do I. Instead, I had to leave the work earlier than usual, commute for a while, and all that to come to a closed door.
You showd no respect to your customers and no ability to run a reliable business. You exploit your position of a quasi monopolist - knowing that you’ll have customers even if you serve them badly, just because there are not many shops providing the same service. Shame on you.

I chanced upon this shop by accident: I had seen those five toe shoes here and there before. The manager helped me to understand these shoes, and was extremely patient with me, fitting them, giving me information about the concept. The result? I have two pairs of 5-toe shoes which are soooo comfortable, even wearing the five toe socks with normal shoes makes things easier on my wide, bunion feet. Fantastic, so glad I found this shop!

Brought in a 7 months old pair of shoes, which I paid 80£, but now worth max 40. simply requested heels to be done and, guess what? was asked 20£ just for that. surely heels cannot be worth half the value!!! oh, and the big tall guy at the counter had the brave face of asking for upfront payment, and was also saying he could only do the job in 2 days time. surely for that money you should provide 1 hour service. more: brought some other shoes a few months ago for the same service and paid 13$. which I pointed to him, when he mumbled that prices go up every now and then! last time ever!!!

Great service and very friendly. They always manage to fit in my requests to re-heel my shoes when I need it done within my lunch hour which is appreciated. I don't go anywhere else.

They broke the zipper on my boots and refused to take responsibility for it. I now have a pair of £150 shoes that are completely useless. Don't do it.

Poor quality materials and workmanship and zero customer service....oh and expensive - never complained about/to a shoe repairer before and I would recommend you go elsewhere. I certainly wouldn't give them 9 stars like the only other comment here - minus 9 maybe?

They did a great job repairing a pair of boots and mending my favorite bag when the strap broke. They are friendly and good at what they do.
