Timpson

I had two pairs of Russell & Bromley shoes rehealed and soled here. When I went in to get them done, he checked his price catalogue and gave the price based on the make of the shoe. I don't see how where I bought the shoe from originally is relevant to how much work needs to be done for a standard job. I was a bit irritated that the price was clearly inflated based on the make. Wonder whether this is policy at Timpsons everywhere or just at this branch, either way I think it should be changed. Though unhappy about the huge price tag, the job that the chap did was good and has lasted well.
