I attended the Post Office on Monday morning (9/3/15). Please be aware whilst queuing up that if anyone wishes to get currency from the Travel desk, they will take preference over you even if you have been waiting for some time. Our queue became longer and longer and when another customer pointed this out, he was told by the floor manager that anyone who required the Travel desk took preference over anyone else regardless of how long they had been already waiting. The floor manager seemed to think it was perfectly fair. The mind boggles!

I visited this branch today and I was totally disappointed by their policy in foreign exchange trading. Euro/pound rate is currently trading at 1,2 but they charge 1,34 which is the highest I found in London. I will never consider visiting post office for this purpose again. I just want to warn future unaware visitors!

Although this office can at times be very busy, over the past few months the whole atmosphere has changed for the better. The staff are helpful and polite and even thanked me for waiting when I had to stand in the queue!

When I went in last week they told me about their life insurance and as I don't have any I'm going to go back when I've got some time and get a quote - sounds corny but I didn't realise they did so much. I already have travel insurance witht he Post office.
