Why do the staff have to be so rude? I make every effort to be courteous when purchasing stamps. But the staff here make the experience an ordeal with their nasty treatment of customers.

I have lived in a number of places in the UK, but the unfriendly & rude service at this Post Office is the worst I've experienced.

I complained about the staff putting the incorrect postal code on posting a first class recorded delivery letter. I tried to explain it was an important legal letter and the address on the receipt must match the address on the letter exactly. I was rudely told it didn't matter.
I phoned the complaints line & informed them - guess what?
THEY told me it DID matter, especially in terms of insurance & loss of item.

Always a very long line so I try to avoid going here and prefer to walk to another one. I only go sometimes because it's unfortunately my local one.
They are seriously in need of some extra staff, and have been for years.

Dalston Post Office has very long queues and not that many cashiers. Imagine something worse than the vibe of the last days of collapsing Soviet Russia and you have Dalston Post Office. Zero out of ten.
