It's a very difficult job to do but it was handled so well by all the staff. Even though it was a tight turn around from when my mother died and the funeral, I didn't feel pressure from any of the staff to get things organised asap, this was the best thing because i didn't want it to be a stressful time obviously. The human/non-coporate/non-bureaucratic touch was there to see in the employees. Of course, there were plenty of things to arrange by them and i think that got the balance right in getting things done but not so it felt clinical.

Did not know this firm was part of a very large countrywide organisation and not the family firm that it was. Did not publish notice of death. Were 'renovating' and moved the family member to another place, without telling the family. Flowers were left in the hearse and taken off the coffin before entering the church for the service. Cards left on floral tributes at graveside, no communication with family about our requirements. Not a very professional firm at all. Lacks compassion and consideration.
