Donovan Dunne

I use Donovan Dunne for my shirts as well as for normal dry cleaning and I think they do an absolutely first-class job. Great value for money too.

I get a minimum of five items a week done here and will continue to do so (as long as the pricing remains keen).

I would not recommend using. I left 10 shirts to be ironed and agreed to pick up on the following Friday. I had to visit the shop on that Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and was continually told that the items would be ready the following day. Avoid them like the plague.

I was initially a bit worried when I took my expensive bridesmaid dress here to be altered and the cost was about half that of any other that I had been quoted. However, I would say that the quality of the work was fantastic and the service was friendly and there was a very fast turn around.

I have had the worst service I've ever experienced from this company and would not recommend them to anyone.

They ruined a pair of relatively new boots which I has taken in for what I was told be an easy zip replacement. After four months of ME chasing the where-abouts of my boots, being told on numerous occasions they would be ready and going in to another excuse, I was then told an incompetent employee (who has since been sacked)had ruined the leather and inserted the wrong colour zip in such a botch job that they would be unable to mend them.

I was asked to bring proof of purchase and they sent the boots off to their insurance company so I could be reimbursed. After chasing my reimbursement for a further 8 weeks I have now given up, bootless and with no compensation... do not make my mistake, use another company!
