Highgate Tailor

Went here for my alterations for my bridesmaid dress, they charged me £90 to shorten the length, take the sides in and remove a ruffle on the sleeve. I thought this was expensive but he convinced me he had 20 years of experience. I tried it on at home, with disbelief the alterations were all wrong along with leaving the zip so that it stuck out of the dress. When going back to get it fixed, the man who I saw had gone on holiday for a month with no one else to fix my dress in the shop. I couldn’t get my money back, I couldn’t get it fixed and I couldn’t buy the same bridesmaid dress as it had all sold out. I now had to go to another tailors costing me £50 to repair the alterations he had done. (£140 out of pocket) I would not recommend this tailors to anyone. Do not waste your time or money.
