It really is a shame you cant give 0 stars.

These charlatans ruined my wifes coat, pretended for 3 months that they had sent it to an independent assessor and got very aggressive when we have been in on numerous occasions to get the information or get it back. We finally got the coat back today and they said hadn't send it to the independent assessor at all.

Terrible service. DO NOT USE!

I also would not recommend this dry cleaners. I took in an expensive green coat with baby sick on it. I made it clear that the coat had sick on it and the coat was accepted. When i picked it up (ready 3 days after it had been promised), i paid for it, went outside, put it on and found that there were acid stains and a grid pattern of orange spots all over it.
I understand that some items can be too bad to be dry cleaned but i would expect experts to tell you this up front or when you pick up the item, rather than keeping quiet, causing furtehr damage to your coat, taking your money, and hoping to get away with it.

I am sorry to add another negative review but the level of service I received probably deserves 0 stars if the site allowed it. I went to Seymour Cleaners on Thursday morning and asked them to replace a button on my ski pants (which I provided) - it is the type of button that requires a special tool for pressing it in vs. sewing it but, providing you have the tool, it should be an under 5 minute job. The owner told me it would be ready later in the day and specifically asked me to come back after 6. I did as I was told and went back at 6:30 (in the rain) only to be told by another lady who was there that it was not ready. The excuse she offered was that the taylor has come in late that day because of the rain and he was in the middle of something else so I would have to come back again. My assessment, for what it's worth, was that they just forgot about it because I could see my bag lying on a chair untouched since I had left it there in the morning. But in any case, I understand things can happen and I agreed to return on Saturday morning (giving more than an extra day to complete the job). I returned on Saturday at noon only to be told again by the owner that it was still not fixed. This time, he simply told me that he had forgotten. When I complained that this was my second time coming back, he apologized but made no other offer to make amends, fix it on the spot for example to avoid wasting my time again. To add insult to the injury, when I tried to protest for being asked to return again, he said I was insulting him (for not accepting his apology I am guessing or for trying to tell him how to do his job, although I tried nothing of the sort). When I retorted I was the one insulted because my time had been twice disrespected, he started screaming at me (for some extra colour he said "you could be my daughter" as if age was the issue here and "do you understand the language?" which I assure the readers I do). All in all an appalling experience.

I tried Seymour Dry Cleaners for the first time last week and dropped off 10 shirts on Wednesday. I was told that they would be ready in 2 days and hence went back on Saturday to pick them up, giving them an extra day. Due to a machine malfunctioning the shirts were not ready. I was told they were running 1 day behind. I fully understand that things happen but the level of customer service i received was shocking. I went back on Monday to pick up my shirts and they were still not ready and no explanation was given hence i had to return later that day to finally pick them up. I cannot reccomend this place not because the shirts were late but no apology, or offer to reduce the amount paid was forthcoming. In these recessionary times customer service goes a long way and unfortunately i will never go back.
