I am very upset and dissatisfied with the service here: I took some jackets to be dry cleaned, including one with a bright floral display on a black jacket. I was shocked and surprised with what happened- all the multi coloured design was gone, the flowers damaged and the colour turned to grey. Also many dirty spots remained on the black material.

The servers did accept that the jacket had been damaged but they refused to offer me any compensation - they offered a letter for me to give to the manufacturer of the garment. They said the reason for the damages was due to the faulty manufacture of said garment, and suggested I get compensation from them!!

However I have had the jacket cleaned at other dry cleaners without any problems whatsoever!!
Please don’t trust this dry cleaning service with your garments - any resulting damage will not be compensated to you!!!!

I have used Pyramid Dry Cleaners for many years and always found the service to be very professional and friendly. Indeed I take all my husband's shirts there regularly and they always come back in excellent condition as does all the dry cleaning. I feel the two negative comments on here are not true, and perhaps these people do not like independent shops in particular. I would not hesitate to recommend Pyramid to anyone - absolutely excellent!

I've never had a problem with Pyramid. I've been living in the area for over 20 years and have had both dry cleaning and repairs done there. I've always found them to be polite and helpful. They are not particular cheap, but they are very convenient which is what you're paying for in Belsize Village.

Pyramid Dry Cleaners are a poor service. They lost an expensive dinner suit of mine and denied all responsibility. I spoke to the owner who was rude, deceitful and unpleasant. He was completely uninterested in receiving feedback.
They are very expensive, not particularly high quality and are unprofessional. There are multiple dry cleaners around the Belsize Park area - I'd strongly suggest that you use of them instead!

I recently used their service to wash some shirts and received a shirt with 8 damaged buttons. I was told that they don't take responsibility for these type of damage and that they could do nothing about it.

I will never use their service again and would not recommend it.

After reading the only review of Pyramid, i feel compelled to refute those very negative comments. I have used the shoe repair service and have found it to be very good. They don't do the shoe repairs on the premises and send them to a third party. They said the shoes would take a week and that is what happened. The work was very good and the price fair. I have been using Pyramid for many years for dry cleaning and their excellent shirt service and found the staff and the work excellent. Maybe the reviewer has issues with shops in general as i have been in shops where some customers are very precious and will take an appalling attitude to some staff and services. I am very happy to recommend Pyramid to anyone. Please ignore the first review as it seems very bitter and petty and I am sure that if she spoke to the staff they would have sorted the problem out. By contrast to the lady who perhaps gave pyramid a poor reputation I would like to say that i have never had a problem.
Further more the dry cleaning has always been first rate and the alterations dept excellent.

Please, please, please, don't ever go to 'Pyramid'! I can't comment on the drycleaning service, but the shoe repair service is absolutely appalling! I asked for a simple job - heel top replacement on two pairs of shoes. Not only did I have to come back three times, because it 'wasn't ready', when the shoes finally arrived (after I demanded that they be brought back, repaired or not, the same morning), the quality of the work was appalling: the materials used were cheap and ugly, the shape of the new heel tops didn't even match the shape of the heels! I also asked for leather soles to be covered with protective coating on one pair, but they coated the wrong pair instead! When I suggested that £40 was far too much to pay for such service, they had the cheek to tell me they wouldn't give me the shoes unless i paid there and then. I now have to have my shoes redone at a professional shoe repairers, I am already forty pounds down, and will never be coming back to 'Pyramid'.
