We have asked for a £500 suit to be made smaller and it was butchered so that it become unusable. We took the suit to another tailor to check if it can be rescued and the tailor didn’t want to even touch it because it was so bad. The pads of the jacket were not moved and adjusted so the back was floppy, and the jacket didn’t fit at all. The trousers were saggy around the knees at the back because they were not taking in from the waist properly.

Had given a school blazer at the Tolworth branch. On collection the cord lace all around blazer edge was shredded at several places making the blazer practically unwearable, one day before the schools were to reopen. No apology offered, no suggestions on how this can be repaired, and the service fee was prepayed (no refund of course!). Hard to believe it was routine ‘wear and tear’, as insisted by the shopkeeper, since it was in perfect shape when I gave it. I was also refused a proper receipt with a VAT registration number! Extremely disappointing service.

The blazer was very old and worn out when it was given for dry cleaning.
Under the Terms and conditions placed at the front of the shop, it clearly states that we are not responsible for any wear and tear of the clothing items brought to us nor any damage to the stitching.
Secondly, we are not VAT registered so it was impossible for me to produce a VAT receipt.
I am a very reasonable proprietor with high regards for all my customers and I exercise high standards of work. I would urge all customers to bring any unfortunate future complaints directly to me personally and i will do my up most to rectify any problems. Please feel free to approach me if you are concerned about any particular item before the cleaning process begins so I can best advise you.
