I have been phoning these people all day, but all I get is a "we're only open between these hours message". That's OK, except it is between those hours. I need information about travelling to Tunisia, but I can't get it off the website because that's either not working or not available in English, depending on which parts you go on.

I've got to say that I have spoken to the embassy numerous times and had awful customer service but today I struck gold. The lady I spoke to couldn't have been more polite or helpful if she tried. Nice to know there is at least one curtious and kind, helpful and caring member of staff and that's why i think she deserves a mention by writing this. I hope others get through to this lady as well as they will experience something totally different. The embassy in general is rude, abrupt, condesending and a bad experience. Thank God for this one woman. I wish I had taken her name down.

I visited this week to enquire about getting a tourist visa. All I can say is TERRIBLE customer service. The elderly man at the desk was rude and did not listen. He just disregarded my problems (I needed an emergency visa) and I left feeling upset. As a Jamaican who was hoping to visit Tunisia for a holiday, I felt like the staff at the embassy (except one gentleman I spoke to on the phone) were very UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE and did not want to help you if you had a problem.

I would never wish the kind of service I recieved on anyone else. It's not good when you are not aware of Tunisian rules about visas etc I feel that the embassy should recruit new, professional, clean staff who know how to talk to people and handle difficult questions without just saying "no, no, 3 weeks minimum, no, three weeks minimum for visa".

I completely agree with both other people about the dire service that the Tunisian embassy has for its people. We are not only Tunisians who expect a warm Tunisian welcome from the start, but disgusted also at the lack of tact when people are queueing. The man at the embassy did not even acknowledge me as i waited for minutes on end to see him about my particular request. Even after a while, when it was my turn to speak to him, he cut very short and walked off without even giving me the time to think about asking any questions. He left and didn't even bother dealing with anyone else. Honestly who does he think he is??? As i left, i felt awful and very embarrassed when truely, the people who should have dealt with the mere shame of it all should be the ones who served us!

I'am tunisian, and i have been living in this country for a long time now, i had to call the embassy to renew my embassy consulat card, and i found that the person i was talking to was very rude and not helpfull at all, as far as i know: tunisian embassy in london should stand by all of us and give support not someone arrogant talking very short and very rude to us. i had to call again and again and the person ( female) was very short.

We work hard here to develop our country by bringing the hard currency to help the economy but we never received any kind of compromisations from the embassy??? why is that????

please look at this matter because i will write another letter to Mrs Mrabet to solve this matter. as far as i know if you not good for the job you can do something els ( No customer services sector)

I have found both the receptionist and the visa section woman rude and unhelpful.
Have your say
