MODERN FREIGHT SERVICES AWFUL TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I urge those who have their post delivered to Modern Freight Services at 172 Franciscan Road to be careful. The owner who sits in the corner is a belligerent, vindictive person. He refused to accept my post and returns them back to sender. This has caused all manor of inconveniences. He’s rude, belligerent and very immature for a grown old man. I am now having my post delivered elsewhere.

This all started due to sender sending my package to this business via Royal Mail by mistake. I popped in before hand just to give him a heads up and was met with such rudeness. He refused to accept the package and I was forced to try and intercept it various ways with no success. Despite this inconvenience, I discovered he accepted it anyway… but only to demand £5 for doing so when I went to collect from him. I was so stunned by this. After I disputed this, he gave it to me anyway but not before insulting me and my custom (I have used this shop few times previously for UPS packages). Since then I had two UPS packages on route to him and after receiving notification my packages are ready to collect, I popped in only to be ignored, rubbished away and lied to that my packages are not available to collect. He said ‘it’s not my problem, call UPS’ . I called UPS and was informed the receiver had returned to sender. He never said this. He lied and has caused all sorts of problems with high value items. So my warning is if you ever encounter issues with this man… he has no intention of serving his customers with any level of service or professionalism. Most immature, rude and hateful man Iv ever encountered in a business capacity.
